Frightful Fall Read-a-Thon: Information and Sign-In

UPDATE:  PRIZE PAGE IS UP! GO HERE TO CHECK IT OUT.

Welcome to the Frightful Fall Read-a-Thon! I hope everyone is ready to read and to have a ton of fun this week.  I'm am so appreciative of the massive outpouring of prize donations from authors and offers from other bloggers to host giveaways and mini-challenges.  This is going to be my funnest read-a-thon yet!

First, I want to get some details out of the way.  Since I have such a large amount of prizes this time, I'm doing things a little differently.  Instead of doing a participant giveaway at the end with one or a few prizes, I'm going to do a participant giveaway every day.  So, at the end of each day, I will draw two winners from the sign in page (that's why it's so important to sign in when you start reading).  Also, I will have three mini-challenges during the week and each mini-challenge will have three winners (selected randomly from anyone who participates in them).  I'm going to emulate Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-Thon's method for prizes.  I will have a prize page and winners will be able to go to the page and select what prize they want.  International and U.S. only prizes will be stipulated by each prize and the prizes will be awarded on a first response basis.  I will have the winner email me with their prize selection and then I will mark that one off the list.  I hope this is to everyone's satisfaction. =O)  PRIZE PAGE

  3. Ok so I gathered the scariest/scarier books I have on my list for this read-a-thon. It'll be the Fright Reviews Week I guess, lol.
So I can include less scary titles too, aside the scarier ones? :D Some vampires maybe? lol

    Good luck everyone!!

  5. I'm utterly rubbish at reading horror books and am a massive wimp - I'm using this as a motivator for being braver this year! I'm so easy to freak out it's just silly! Can't wait to get stuck into this Read-a-Thon - it sounds amazing! :)

  6. Hey all! I'm reading Solom by Scott Nicholson and Deadly Treats by Anne Frasier and Heather Dearly. I'll be watching for the winners so I can send them the ebook horror anthology Playing With Fire by Chryse Wymer and Coral Russell and/or the creepy ebook thriller Brilliant Prey by me. :)

  7. Okay, so it's 6:9 pm EST and I'm starting my Read-a-Thon. I'm halfway through with The Haunting of Hill House, so I don't know if that really counts. The Name of the Star will be next!
