I created Castle Macabre as an offshoot of my main book blog, The True Book Addict, to celebrate my love of the horror and speculative fiction genres.  While the main focus here will be books, I will occasionally talk about horror/speculative genre films, as I simply adore being scared and tend to prefer horror films (mostly).

The concentration on Castle Macabre will be horror.  However, horror purists beware...I will be reviewing paranormal fiction/lighter horror as well.  I'm not a huge reader of Urban Fantasy, but I do own a few titles and those will eventually be reviewed here as well.  Scaredy cats, please keep in mind...there will be no-holds-barred horror reviewed here! Now that I've added speculative fiction into the mix, high or epic fantasy, post-apocalyptic and dystopian, and others, will also be reviewed here.

Guidelines for Review Copies:
Until further notice, I am no longer accepting review requests until I've eliminated most (or all) of my back log.

Those of you that I regularly do book tours with, this does not apply to you. You know who you are!
