How did your reading go in the third quarter?
My planned reads for the three main categories are Slewfoot (Brom) for Witches, The Root Witch (Mexican American author Debra Castaneda) for BIPOC, and The Beast of Brenton Woods (Jackson R. Thomas) for Frightening Cover. For Cryptid Bingo, right now I have The Jersey Devil (Hunter Shea) and The Wendigo (Algernon Blackwood) on my list for fall reading.

I guess you can say that my horror reading has gotten away from me this year. In fact, I've already finished the Chilling level and just need one more book to finish Frightful. I don't know that I'll finish Horrifying but I'm going to keep going, anyway. I probably won't be finishing the bingo board, though.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! Don't worry about the BINGO card. I'm not sure if I said in the sign-up post for this year, but it's completely optional. I should go back through the horror I've read this year and see if they fit the categories. I could very well be completing another level without knowing it.
